Predeterminado McCain, noted WASP, confounds Mexicans with visit to basilica

Dallas Morning News, TX -

John McCain and his wife visited Mexico's most important Roman
Catholic religious site, the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe,
early today.

The visit left some Mexican observers scratching their heads.

McCain is, after all, Protestant.

Besides, Mexican politicians generally keep religion out of their
campaigns (with the notable exception of former President Vicente Fox,
who caused a national debate when he marched with an image of the
Virgin nine years ago). A candidate's religious faith typically isn't
a big deal, since 80 percent of Mexicans -- including Mexican
politicians -- are Catholic.

law enforement agency's are to bust working hand in hand with the drug

I would be more worried if McCain were visiting a mosque. Then again
barbarian
infidel dogs aren't allowed in mosques so maybe it's a non-issue.

Typical egocentric Mexicanism.

The visit to the church has nothing to do with Mexico per se. It is a
signal to the U.S. Catholic Church that McCain will honor its un-Holy
alliance with the Mexican Government (and particularly its 'Cristero'
PAN) in that governments export and stateside management of humans for
labor (and, of course, church membership).

Great analysis, I agree.
