STILL ALIVE

This was a triumph.
I'm making a note here:
HUGE SUCCESS.
It's hard to overstate
my satisfaction.
Aperture Science
We do what we must
because we can.
For the good of all of us.
Except the ones who are dead.
But there's no sense crying
over every mistake.
You just keep on trying
till you run out of cake.
And the Science gets done.
And you make a neat gun.
For the people who are
still alive.


I'm not even angry.
I'm being so sincere right now.
Even though you broke my heart.
And killed me.
And tore me to pieces.
And threw every piece into a fire.
As they burned it hurt because
I was so happy for you!
Now these points of data
make a beautiful line.
And we're out of beta.
We're releasing on time.
So I'm GLaD. I got burned.
Think of all the things we learned
for the people who are
still alive.

Go ahead and leave me.
I think i prefer to stay inside.
maybe you'll find someone else
to help you.
maybe Black Mesa...

Anyway this cake is great.
It's so delicious and moist
look at me still talking when theres science to do
when i look out there

Aún sigo viva

Estaba pensando hacer una traducción rápida, pero por motivos legales me
lo ahorro. Las ideas que me parecen centrales por estrofas son:

1. Fui un verdadero éxito,
pero no tiene sentido quejarse por los errores.

2. No guardo rencor por todo lo pasado (me han matado, despedazado...).
Aquellos que siguen vivos que recuerden todo lo que aprendimos.

3. Siga adelante, abandóneme...
ES BROMA...
Aún tengo cuerda para rato.

4.***Aún sigo viva, sigo mejorando,... y aún sigo viva (o dando guerra,
si no somos literales y nos inspiramos con la violencia desenfrenada
hacia otras plataformas de la animación ;D).

Una animación preciosa, una melodía agridulce estupenda...

STILL ALIVE

(En la letra aparecen varias referencias al juego para el que fue creada,
PORTAL, de Valve Inc. Se trata de un juego basado en Half Life2.
En Google podéis buscar referencias al argumento que explicarán buena parte
de los elementos que aparecen, como "Aperture Science", "Black Mesa", el
cañón, pastel, etc.)


Fue un triunfo.
Estoy haciendo aquí una anotación:
TREMENDO EXITO.
Me es difícil sobreponerme
a mi propia satisfacción.
'Aperture Science'
hicimos lo que debíamos
porque podíamos.
Por el bien de todos,
excepto el de los que ya han muerto
Pero no tiene sentido llorar
por cada error cometido.
Simplemente sigue intentándolo
hasta que te quedes sin pastel.
Y se hizo la Ciencia.
E hicisteis un bonito cañón
para la gente que quedaba
todavía viva.

Ni siquiera estoy enfadada.
Voy a ser sincera ahora mismo
Aunque rompisteis mi corazón
Y me asesinasteis
Y me troceásteis en pedacitos
y tirasteis cada pedacito al fuego
Y mientras ardían me dolía
porque me sentía tan feliz por vosotros!
Ahora esos puntos de datos
forman una preciosa línea
No tenemos Betas
Hemos aparecido a tiempo.
Por eso soy FELiZ. Ardí en llamas.
