es posible utilizar el evento .UnhandledException en ASP.NET 2.0 ??

tengo algo asÃ***:

protected override void OnInit(EventArgs e)
{
base.OnInit(e);

PantallaControlIULogging.TrazarDebug("Principal. OnInit.");

PantallaControlIULogging.TrazarWarning("Principal.
CurrentDomain_UnhandledException. ");
AppDomain.CurrentDomain.UnhandledException -= new
UnhandledExceptionEventHandler(CurrentDomain_Unhan dledException);
AppDomain.CurrentDomain.UnhandledException += new
UnhandledExceptionEventHandler(CurrentDomain_Unhan dledException);
}

y también asÃ***:

protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
PantallaControlIULogging.TrazarWarning("Principal.
CurrentDomain_UnhandledException. ");
AppDomain.CurrentDomain.UnhandledException -= new
UnhandledExceptionEventHandler(CurrentDomain_Unhan dledException);
AppDomain.CurrentDomain.UnhandledException += new
UnhandledExceptionEventHandler(CurrentDomain_Unhan dledException);
....


Pero no consigo que se lance el evento cuando fuerzo un error:

/// <summary>Refrescar datos</summary>
protected void b2click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
// Forzar error
throw new
Excepciones.BloqueoTareaExcepcion("ERROR BloqueoTareaExcepcion!!!");


Por la arquitectura de la aplicación no puedo acceder a global.asax y
utilizar HttpApplication_Error.

Alguna idea ? Gracias de antemano.
